Edna “Joyce” Rimpley, 88, formerly of Lexington, Nebraska, passed away on Friday, April 28th, 2023, at her home in Littleton, Colorado.

She was born February 24,1935 in Garryowen, MT to Jacob L. Reichert and Elizabeth Wirth Reichert. Having spent most of her life in Lexington, NE she graduated from Lexington High School and married Gordon E. Rimpley and were married for 64 years until passing in 2018.

Joyce was an avid reader and enjoyed many hobbies.

Joyce is survived by her four children, Tim Rimpley of Lexington, Todd and Patty Rimpley of Lexington, Tamara Rimpley of Littleton, Colorado and Teresa Black Rimpley of Lexington; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild; and a brother, Junior L. Reichert of Fountain Valley, California.

A Celebration Of Life Service and Reception will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Lexington on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Eddie Mariel, officiating.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorials can be mailed to the “Lexington Community Foundation” for the Lexington Library in honor of her name; P.O. Box 422.
