Ryan M. Clark
LEXINGTON - Ryan Clark, 18, of Lexington died July 19, 2001, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.

He was born Sept. 9, 1982, at Lincoln to Charles and Sandra Phipps Clark. He attended Lexington schools and graduated in 2000. He attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney and at the time of his death, was employed with the city of Lexington.

While in high school, he was named to the All Academic Team. He was on the varsity tennis team and was a State Class B Medalist.

He was also on the state qualifying soccer team. He helped run the Lexington Little League Baseball program and also did umpiring.

Survivors include his parents; a sister, Rena Clark of Lincoln; a half brother, John Clark of Omaha; grandparents, Marlene Phipps of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Jay Phipps of Lincoln; and numerous other relatives.

A memorial has been established.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Christian Church in Elwood with the Rev. Ginny Hill officiating. Burial will be in the Elwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad.
