Luis Angel Garcia-Torres, 21, of Lexington, Nebraska passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020 at Lexington Regional Health Center.

He was born September 6, 1998 in Mexico to Luis Enrique Garcia-Sanchez and Maria Carmen Torres-Salazar. His family moved to Lexington, Nebraska when Luis was 4. Luis was raised by and lived with his grandparents, Jose Luis Garcia Rodriguez and Maria C. Sanchez Lopez. He received his education from Lexington Public Schools and graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 2018. Something that Luis was very proud of.

Luis was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington.

Those who knew Luis can attest to his sense of humor; he loved to make people laugh. He loved playing video games and enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially at the lake with his family. Luis was very friendly and kind hearted.

Luis leaves to celebrate is life; his grandparents, Jose Luis Garcia Rodriguez and Maria C. Sanchez Lopez of Lexington; his father, Luis Enrique Garcia-Sanchez of Dodge City, Kansas; his mother, Maria Carmen Torres-Salazar of Lexington; two sisters, Claudia (Efren) Cabrera of Des Moines, Iowa and Yuritzia Garcia of Wichita, Kansas; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

A Private Family Mass Of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington with Father Jorge Canela, officiating. The Mass will be streamed live via Facebook live on the Reynolds Love Facebook page.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20, from 3-7 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we will adhere to members of a household who live together may be seated together, but maintain six feet of a part of social distance from other parties.

Burial will be in St. Ann’s Catholic Cemetery at Lexington.

Elias Rodriguez Del Rio, 23, of Lexington, Nebraska passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at Lexington Regional Health Center.

He was born September 28, 1996 in Lexington to Julio Cesar Rodriguez Sanchez and Maria De Jesus Del Rio. He received his education from Lexington Public Schools and graduated from Lexington High School with the class of 2018.

Those who knew Elias can attest to his sense of humor; he enjoyed making people laugh and was very happy. He was a very good eater and loved his Cheetos. He enjoyed long rides in the car and spending time with his close friends.

Survivors include his parents, Maria De Jesus Del Rio and Alvaro Infante of Lexington; four aunts, Augenia (Antonio) Del Rio of Mexico, Yolanda Del Rio of Mexico, Fatima (Ernesto) Del Rio of Chino Hills, California and Maria Elena (Jose) Del Rio of Las Vegas, Nevada; four uncles, Javier (Cindy) Del Rio of California, Gerardo (Marisela) Del Rio of Mexico, Felipe (Teresa) Del Rio of Mexico and Antonio (Lilia) Del Rio of Ontario, California; as well as extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Cristina and uncle, Ignacio.

Due to health concerns with COVID-19, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
